Exhausted

Hi Everyone, Sibyl Here,

Stephi had another IV of chemo yesterday
and It took the starch out of her. She is really tired today.
She saw her oncologist but the wrong blood tests were
performed so he could not read the rate of improvement.
She had to have more blood drawn today for that. That is
so hard for her because her veins collapse so easily. She
has never had an easy time with people searching for her veins.

I heard back from the Kansas City Chapter of the nascent
Gilda's Club. They are still raising money and are not up and running
as yet. What nice poeple organizing it, though. I asked Mary Linna (one
of the two organizers) if Stephi could get involved with the effort on
a very restricted as her energy served her basis, and Mary Linna said
that would be great. She also gave me a number of places to explore for
support groups for Stephi. So as soon as I can get some one to help me do
the link, you will be seeing a Gilda's Club Logo on this blog.

My daughter Phaedra has a conventionnear Stephi sometime soon and
will be spending the weekend with her.
