Eyes

Hi Everyone, Sibyl here at my daughter's home in CA,

I am sorry I have not entered new reports in two
days while I traveled and recovered from travel.

Stephi has been maintaining a low level of pain in
the last couple of days except for a few breakthrough
episodes of intense pain. She is seeing her oncologist
later today and that problem among others will be addressed.

The upsetting occurance yesterday was a visit with the eye
surgeon who performed lasik surgery on Stephi last year.
He told her the current vision problems she is experiencing
will require he re-perform the surgery. That in itself is bad
enough, however, Stephi is now pondering the reason why
she had the surgery in the first place. She was feeling lots of
pain in the bridge of her nose whenever she wore her glasses
for about a year prior to undergoing the surgery. She is
convinced she had cancer in the bones of her face at that time.
Because she had been diagnosed with monoclonal gammopathy
in 2001, she has been regularly tested several times a year
to watch for M-spikes that would denote cancer. She is still
stunned that upon discovery of the cancer, it was immediately
in third stage.

Please pray for Stephi's remission and peace of mind.
Love,
Sib
